Conn-Selmer doesn't list the handslide crook but it appears in the Allied catalog. I'm not at home so I can't look at the price list to make sure it's still current. It is listed as an assembly. Which means it would include the waterkey saddle and nipple as well as the guard. That being said... I'm thinking that crook should be the same as any Conn .500" bore student trombone.58mark wrote:I'm not entirely sure this part is even available. this horn hasn't been made in 44 years. I'd still rather come up with a good used part, but so far haven't found one, so I thought I would experiment on what I have in the meantime

Looking good Mark. Those Amazon Dent balls work pretty well for the price.
