Hmmm. When I make a leadpipe, after it's bent with lead inside, I figure it's work-hardened (like I'd like it to be, thus not vulnerable to denting, etc.) and I'll melt the lead out, making sure I don't get up to annealing temp.bloke wrote:After a pre-made mouthpipe tube is bent and all the pitch is burned out of it (turned to ash, and washed away with Dawn), the mouthpipe ends up being annealed to "dead soft" anyway.
