I'm really glad to see this.

Assuming an instrument is worthy of such a restoration, there's nothing like REPLACING worn-out parts (vs. "rebuilding" them).

really excited to see how this goes! I've done this with special vintage saxophones before and I'd love to get my hands on a tuba like that and do a "restomod" to it

Yep, rebuilding would have been ok for museum purposes, but I want to actually play this tuba!

Just keep the old parts in case somebody wants to "restore" the tuba rather than play it.

If you are willing to reveal it, a candid "tuning chart" would be of interest (listing pitches that - with all slides sitting in one optimal position - vary more than 7c from "equal temperament" tuning.

Regardless of how many anomalies - or how few, I seriously doubt that revealing this would lower the instrument's potential monetary value in any way, as most expect (due to hearsay) several anomalies with these instruments anyway.
