That fine instrument will never be duplicated. According to records (known only to me) that windbreaker horn was handmade in 1899 during a violent hurricane twister high in the isolated mountains of a well-known Teutonic country. The maker was the expert (but obscure) craftsman, Johannes Windgassen von Schwartzfahrt, who lost an arm in an earlier war. His was a one-man shop in his kitchen; thus, output (three) was sparse. The workmanship is beyond criticism. Would that we had such masterly and creative makers today.
