Conn used the designation "artist" for their pro instruments at some point, I think the 40's and 50's.

I guess they never thought of it that way, but it is funny. :lol:

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Depends -- largemouth or smallmouth bass? (now, a perch trombonist, there's no question -- that's humorous!) :P

Could have been a base trombonist... but then again, all trombonists are base! :P

(then again, it's difficult to trust anybody whose instrument changes shape while they play it!)

Assuming the winning bid came from the US, he/she got a really good deal, even if the mouthpiece was junk... only ten bucks and some change, counting shipping!
