That is an amazing looking tuba!

Has anyone here heard Dr.Young's double tuba. What does it sound like - a bass, or contrabass tuba? Does the BBb and Eb sides sound the same, or does its tonal character change through using the different sides?

:shock: :roll: Ah... I see! The purpose is to avoid those multiple valve combinations in the low register.
