What do you know about this horn?

A student of mine is selling this Holton/ Mirafone frankentuba. Do any of you guys know who built it? It has been floating around the Tulsa, Oklahoma area for a few years. He doesn't know much about the instrument, just that he bought it from his teacher in High School.
