FWIW, that retrofitted Conn 28J is mine. I'd much rather keep it, but I need the dough. Feel free to inquire if you have any questions.

I'd be happy to hold your guns.
I'd nestle them tenderly into my shoulder and cup them tenderly with my palms.

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

What do you get when you cross a piccolo and a clarinet?
An earache.

What's the difference between a clarinet and a mouse?
You can't hear a mouse squeak over the entire band!

oops, wrong thread

Kind of a personal question, but ----

24 inches, give or take.

What was retrofitted was the valve section. This horn originally came only with 3 valves. Someone somewhere put a new valve section on the horn, adding a 4th valve. How do I know this? The valve tubing is gold brass, the bugle is silver brass.

Whuhappened?

Post by jeopardymaster »

Yesterday someone who called himself/herself "guitarrepairman" sent me a very weird email asking for a reply, saying that another posted item looked just like mine. Then I got a note from EBay telling me I had received a weird email and that they were investigating.

So today I get a notice that they are ending my auction "as [the item] appear[s] to have been listed by a third party without your authorization."

I'm confused, inasmuch as I had submitted and paid for my posting, and was never able to locate any other. But anyway, the horn has not been bought, and I still have it. So if you are interested in buying, let me know.

Bumping because it is posted for another 3 days. Lots of looks this time, but no bids yet.

EBay closed for the second time without a bid over my reserve. I guess I'll hang on to it a while longer, or maybe run an ad on Tubenet.
