It's all in the name. If you make a version of a mouthpiece in the more or less general Helleberg way, it should probably sell for around $60 give or take. Now, if you attach a name to it -- that's all, no other change, say, for example, Arnold Jacobs -- then all of a sudden, it is now "worth" $145.

Note: This is a purely hypothetical conjecture. Any resemblance to real mouthpieces is entirely coincidental.

But I ain't gonna fall for that old trick. I'm holding out for the genuine Paris Hilton embouchure development kit.

Where can one purchase one of those Paris Hilton kits? I'd like to head in that direction.
