Conn Chief mouthpiece
Nobody mentioned the Conn Chief mouthpiece which sold for a gazillion pennies. Whew! I don't get it.

Everybody was hoping that nobody else had seen it, and that it would somehow fall into their laps despite the poor condition and freakish price...Alex C wrote:Nobody mentioned the Conn Chief mouthpiece which sold for a gazillion pennies. Whew! I don't get it.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I saw it, but didn't really care since I already had one.
I did "watch" the auction to see what it went for out of curiosity.
I've never thought those were that rare. Three or four years ago, I posted an ad that I wanted one. I had no problem finding one in nice shape. Lots of folks seem to have them.
What seems to be more rare is the Conn 1. The Conn 1 is identical to the Conn Chief on the inside, but looks like your typical Conn 2 on the outside.
I do suppose the Chief is prettier on the outside.
