That auction is now over. I bid early but failed to check back because the seller did not respond to my email asking him to verify the make and model. I think he probably got his pictures mixed up because I don't think the sousa pictured was a Reynolds Contempora. This particular seller usually knows what he is selling. It looked more like one of those eastern European or Italian 'freaks' than a Reynolds. Someone may have gotten a very interesting instrument for a very small price.

I have that same body with a serial number but no manufacturer mark on the body. The bell has the "Boosey" engraving. The body has a serial number on the collar and the bell has a 3 digit number stamped on the part that goes into the collar.
