Hee hee hee. I don't want to make the happy prospective new owner feel bad, but a prompt response to a recent Tubenet For Sale offer would have brought the same mouthpiece in much better condition for less than half the price.
That one is now in my hands. I have played it out with a couple of different Eb tubas and am very pleased with it. It's small for a tuba mouthpiece, but bigger than any normal bass trombone mouthpiece I think, and it has a normal American shank. It does not facilitate playing in the low range, but in the sweet part of its range the bass tuba really comes alive. The cup is more or less funnel shaped; don't know the bore size but seems fairly large.

Re: The Little Giant
I thought of this mouthpiece when you wrote on that subject a few months back, but it would seem to not qualify by your stated parameters. It's on the small side, but the blank makes it look smaller than it is - it's a real tuba mouthpiece.
I make it ca. 31mm, slightly wider inside diameter than my DW 5. It's very similar to my Conn 3 - about the same size, shallow conical cup, large bore - but the cup, as befits a Giant, is slightly larger in volume. Not quite as funnel shaped (my Conn 3 is very funnel shaped for a shallow mouthpiece), and maybe a bit deeper. I don't have a Bach 32E, but the Giant would apparently be larger per inside diameter.

Re: The Little Giant
The dimension of the Conn Giant and other Mpc'd are listed in my MPC for sale, I'll give it a bump in the For Sale. And yes, Donns' is in considerably better condition than one sold. Geez Donn, you send me another check.
