I played this helicon a couple of years ago during a visit to the Seller's house, and I've been thinking about it ever since!

It's back up! Now for $1600 (I think the original price was $2000). Someone should jump on this. It looks like a great horn.

Once the valve issue is sorted, it should be great! The linkages should be changed - then it should make a fine horn for someone. I've played it, or at least made some noise through it (the second valve linkage broke when I was there) and I know Art Hovey's examined it as well. Maybe Art will chime in here.
