A clever way to add a couple of valves, I have to say. Did see something similar done to a 20J. A fourth valve was added down below, sticking out the side like on this horn and on some euphs.

This is really just an enlarged version of the French tuba design: 3 on top, all extras on the side. Not surprising either, being Belgian.
