Re: M&M CC Sousaphone w/ BBb Valve (no kidding!)
This sousaphone has been mentioned here at least one time before, but it seems to me to be a product in search of a market. I guess there might be some tuba majors who might like to be able to play in marching band without having to "revert back" to playing a BBb instrument, but I suspect this to be a relatively small minority. Even so, would the band director spend the money on horns like this to accommodate them? I guess it does come down to how well do they play, either in CC or BBb. Has anyone tried one of these who can comment on them?
