I've played one briefly a couple years ago and the university has one that I just discovered this afternoon so I'll probably spend some time on it in the near future. The one I played was a decent enough horn, but I didn't play it long enough to really develop on opinion one way or the other.

I'd say it's not a great performing instrument compared to other 3+1 BBb comps out there (Besson, Imperials,Yorks). Certainly nowhere near as good as Yamaha's new one, the Neo. Very well made though, they just didn't quite get it right.

I played on one briefly a couple months ago, it was pretty good until the louder dynamics came around and then it broke up quite badly. Sort of sounded like "" bbbbbbrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!""
