I count one rotary and one piston valve, sorta looks like an early marching horn.

I have one of these. It's chrome-plated, and in the key of GG - a minor third BELOW a contrabass BBb tuba. With a tiny, tiny, tiny bore and a ton of cylindrical-spaghetti tubing in the middle. These things are blat-weasels. 19th century? No way. Might make a cool lamp some day, though.
