Might this be worth picking up?

Post by Tubajug »

Any guess as to key? The guy was only going to use it as a decoration, so I don't know if it even functions in any way. The lead pipe is damaged. I'm thinking of getting it as a possible bell donor or simply practice some home repairs.

And it's only an hour away this time :)

Looks like a small-bore Eb I used to have that was a lot of fun. This one looks like it needs around $500-$1000 of work to be a decent player.

If nothing else, they make really good Berlioz and "Bydlo" horns once you get them sounding decent.

"F. Jaubert & Cie/Paris" was a Lyon & Healy, Chicago store brand.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Would the bell be at all close to the right size to replace the bell on my Bach?
