Che bella! Too bad about the parts missing from the valve rotors - I can't make out for sure, but looks like a decorative pearl cap over the 1st valve rotor?

A beauty, yes. We might cry over missing parts, but then we would have a lot of crying to do.
My reason for relaying this US auction mainly was about the documentation of the lean Italian tuba concept of maybe 100 or more years ago. Not wider than German/Czech F instruments. I had to look closely for the windings of the main bugle and at the valve slide lengths to end up being quite sure this is a BBb instrument.
