FS - Meinl Weston 25

Post by Minkrott »

Just listed on Craigslist.

It plays great. My MW 20 Getzen fits better in my trunk, so I am selling this one. I have a hard case that fits either if preferred over the gig bag.

I don't know how to date this. The receiver has the number 1406 above "Made in Germany". The website lists the latest improvements over 40 years, and I believe this horn is the latest style that is still available today. I believe it is priced right due to scratches and wear that doesn't show up in the pictures. It has that great deep tone that German tubas are known for, so someone will surely love it.

Nothing quite like having a chance to try the horn/buy the horn/drive off with it in the car. No shipping, no hassles, and a chance to make your most kind acquaintance. What I worried about more than anything else was that you would wise up before I could get away and hit me up for what the horn's really worth. As we discussed, this was a two exclamation mark bargain!! Warmest regards and many thanks!
