It is certainly a King 2341. Yes, they are very good horns. That one is a bit rough though...it will take a quite a bit of work to get it up and running it looks like.

Might be 'splitting hairs' here but this is a King 1241. The 'official' change to 2341 was when the 1st slide was moved to the top and the serial numbers passed 780900 in June of 1980. They continued to build the detachable bell Kings for several years after the switch.
I think ALL of the 12/2341 detachable bell horns had good potential.
