If I thought I'd use it I'd buy it, definitely a cool looking horn.

Seller says it isn't a double tuba. I think he's wrong.

Eb and Bb....KiltieTuba wrote: So then is a British Eb tuba not a compensating instrument, but a double tuba in Eb and something else?
Just like a euph is a Bb-F double instrument....Sorta
I was asked to sub in horn parts in band....Since I didn't want to rewrite the parts and I hadn't really practiced reading that transposition on Euph before, I locked the fourth valve down and played away with trumpet fingerings.... I had to use some alternative fingerings for tuning, but overall it sounded very decent(on 2nd-4th horn parts)
_____
Euph and Tuba players almost only use the double side to correct tuning in the low range, whereas Horn players will use it in different registers just because it makes more sense for them(from a tuning /tone/technique point of view)...Note that there are fully double horns which have a full set of slides and there are compensating horns. Both, use the other side in a different manner than tuba euphs do. On horns (or rotaries in general) the bore is rarely bigger on the double or compensating side, on piston compensating horns it almost always is.

It's the TN Freak Jury. You may as well advocate SOMETHING...
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
