I've played both of these, know the owner, and they're exactly what they appear to be: Top notch recording basses He's a buddy, full disclosure, and he's a good egg. He went on a long search through myriad instruments, and stuck with these for quite some time. Ultimately, he chose something smaller... but he wishes he could keep 'em all.

The 24J is a beauty! I think I would like to get the stand to go along with it. Sure would improve those long rehearsal sessions sitting in the back row counting rests.
The King is a beauty also. I had a similar horn (2340) and it played really well. What things are worth and what they sell for are two different things, though...
