I asked him for shipment, and he stated that he wanred 9000$.

I wouldn't think there would be too many of that tuba in that case with that Frankfurt sticker.

hello, shipping is by the size and weight but can reach an agreement, I am in florida, the price of the tuba is 9000 dollars, if the interezado I can take personally if you're not far away, it's a tuba in C Microphone 5/4 model new yorker, thank you, happy night

Wouldn't that serial number predate the model by 25 years or so? I am no expert, but the Mirafone I had was very early 1990s and had a SN higher than 15000.

If I had to take a swing at this...

My guess is that it's a real sale but knowing eBay, since he's a first time seller, he cannot sell more than $1000 a month. He wants to sell the tuba at $9000 but can't due to eBay restrictions so he placed it as an auction.

Yeah, that feedback was written by someone with obviously limited language skills. I meant that it was unsurprising the seller refused to sell at the final price.
