Has anyone determined if these things actually play?

It would seem to be cheaper and probably better to get a student quality 3v BBb of some sort in reasonable condition and anoint it with three or four cans of appropriate color Rustoleum urethane.

But what do I know?

The tiger I have does play reasonably well after you get it warmed up after 10 minutes. It just has a hollow tone compared to brass. The valves are sticky as well no matter what I do to them. It is fun to goof around with but that's about it. It's more of a novelty. Got mine 2nd hand so was considerably cheaper. Would I buy another one. No.
