I wonder what "2 cracks on big bow" and “Playable after repairs!" mean...

One of the pictures has an area circled in black pen and, in the circle, it says "Cracks". Thats where the cracks are. There is a big ol' air leak there. The tuning slide looks a little bent so something might need to be done there. The buyer has a few options as what to do with that. Some really cheap, others kind of involved.

The seller says the valves and linkages are good. At that price, you might pay for other repairs and still have a good deal.

The same seller has a couple of Eb sousaphones for sale if someone is interested in those.

Hmmmm.... never seen a 186 with a 14 1/2" bell!

It also says it is 40" long, which is in the 186 ballpark.
