I can't really answer either question. Sorry. I haven't played an oval. Of course Hirsbrunner has an excellent rep for tubas.jacobg wrote:How is Hirsbrunner's rep for tenor horns?
Would an upright tenor horn play identically (ideally) to an oval one?
Being a tuba player with no euph chops, the best I can say is, it sure is a pretty horn.
