How is Hirsbrunner's rep for tenor horns?
Would an upright tenor horn play identically (ideally) to an oval one?

I can't really answer either question. Sorry. I haven't played an oval. Of course Hirsbrunner has an excellent rep for tubas.

Being a tuba player with no euph chops, the best I can say is, it sure is a pretty horn.

FWIW, I'm also auctioning off over there a Conn Helleberg, Warren Deck, and Marcinkiwiezc Tommy Johnson MP, as well as a couple of tuning/gooseneck bits and a big pile of tuba solos.
