Hey, a chance to buy a a haydn without paying "the usual thousands of dollars from the major stores"...
Wish he had qualified how he comes by this statement...I can say it plays just as well as the name brands.
But what I really want to know is how (in his main picture) he was able to get that sucker (
) to hang on the wall!

You touch one valve even slightly, and that baby is coming down!
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

OK, this is too easy, but I'll do it anyway...
IF IT'S HAYDN, HOW COME WE CAN SEE IT?

Why, it's "Haydn in plain sight", of course!

Hence, the familiar greeting when two Haydn owners meet: "How's it hangin'?".
To which, if I'm not mistaken, the correct response is "Bells to the wall!"

They are pieces of junk.
My dad bought one because they were ending an auction and the tuba was only $60, so he got it, it came, its intonation was about a half step flat with all of the slides pushed in, it had so much resistance every note was a pain to get except a pedal Bb (which was easier to get than BBb) and the brass is very weak.

Wonder if the guy on the right with good compression is named Haydn?

Well, the guy put no reserve on the horn, so it was only $60. He did after that auction, and they go for a lot more than that now. But they aren't worth it.
