e-Bay Seller
mirtrckson of Jamaica, Plain. MA is attempting to commit fraud on e-Bay using photographs, serial number, information, etc.. from my web site in offering my Yamaha YFB-621S F tuba on the auction site. My horn is NOT for sale!

I have reported the seller to e-Bay and believe it is the same seller who attemped to sell Chris Combest's Rudy F last week.

I love how they even used "Freyja" in the description. They just copied your website verbatim. That'd be hilarious, if they weren't trying to scam someone.

It's probably pointless to warn those folks bidding on this horn. Looking at their history, they're mostly newly minted ebayers entering shill bids.
One guy might be legit (3 previous feedbacks), but you'd think after previously purchasing a Selman Euph, he'd be more discerning...or not.

If I would see someone seriously going after the horn I would consider warning them but e-Bay would probably ban me for "interrupting commerce" as they have done that to others in similar situations.
Interestingly I have had several people e-mail me to ask about the horn on e-Bay as they found me via Google search about the Yamaha 621 F. I guess my photo page is high ranked there in good company with those of Jim Self and Rick Denney.
I had contacted e-Bay within an hour of the posting but the horn is still up there as of tonight. Their "so called" 24-48 hour response apparently operates on a much slower clock than the rest of the world and I am supposed to be getting "priority" support as I have the honour of being a "Silver PowerSeller" for all that title is worth (what a joke

)
I am about ready to turn the Blonde that LV mentioned loose on them as she has been fuming and chomping hard at the bit to get some blood since the moment she saw the listing.
Apologies for the rant but it is irritating...

Auction is gone. Ebay has replaced the page with a bit of information on how to protect yourself against fraud.
