I have owned an E.M. Winston small bore 3 valve tuba. I can clearly state these facts:
Nothing fell off
Nothing leaked
Nice full sound (for what it was).
Knowing what I know now (and I knew nothing back then), I would have saved up a little more money and bought something used. I paid less for my Marzan (about 2 bucks less) than I did for the Winston and I bought the Winston 7 or 8 years ago.
