In addition to any opinions you might get on the forum here, you can look at the feedback comments where the items and the purchasers are listed. Send e-mails to those who bought the tuba (click on the item# column to see what was bought) and see what response you get. I did this with a "Haydn" brand tuba that was on ebay a few months ago. I e-mailed four people and got back two responses.

Well, it was in one of the pictures (would that be "gilt" (or "gelt") by association?) ...

I guess that anyone who recognizes superior quality in a Miraphone is an inferior player in the eyes of this seller?
Not much happy being brought there ...

i guess his "contentment" wasn't the seller's "pleasure"
No one who tells you what you want to hear at someone else's detriment is acting in your best interest.

I'd love to present my saxophone-playing friends with one of his fine altos, but I can't figure out what kind of reed it uses:

That is a cute little "sax", isn't it? :D Looks like that one takes a lip reed (and probably a small one at that) ...

... doesn't really matter, since it's got only one really, really small key there on the mouthpipe. Then again, "no crack and no chip"

Quotes from the M&M advertisement:
"guarentee"
"warented"
"We will sell you more Instrument for your money and warentee sadifactioned"

If they can't spell or put together coherent sentences, you probably shouldn't purchase from them.

Well, it's fun to make fun of them, but their English is a helluvalot better than my Chinese (of ANY dialect)...
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
