But how can you pull out the valve slides far enough for a CC tuning without them falling out?

Might make a neat bass bugle in the key of C! Never mind using the valves.

A type of "perk" (very cheap I might add) used quite cleverly to get a potentially higher selling price (to an unsuspecting and inexperienced buyer).

Maybe they should have put the extension here instead?! BTW, how do you reach the valves and hold the horn with this extension???

Looking at the specs:

21 cm bell = 8.268"
Sounds like an alto horn to me!
