Ultimate sousaphone?

This looks like a great horn. Too bad it's a sousaphone.

I think that this is too small to be a mammoth, especially with the 23" bell. It looks like the Martin equivalent of a Conn 40K.TubaTinker wrote:You recon it's a 'mammoth'? If it is, a 4V would be a steal at that price.

Lew, I know it's been discussed on this BBS before, but why wouldn't a vintage sousaphone be just as good an instrument as it's orchestral tuba counterpart?
