Since my bass has virtually never left the house, there is no reason keeping this expen$ive gigbag around. This bag is built like a tank and has 1 inch firm foam padding inside a heavyweight cordura shell along with backpack straps and plenty of storage. Sad to say, the quality and protection are better than many tuba bags - the instrument is nearly indestructable cradled in this protection.
(and NO, I don't ever plan on selling the bass Funkcicle setup for me - it plays better then any low buck axe out there, and even many more expensive ones).
