old tuba bell on ebay

Or is this a sousaphone bell?

I just hope it doesn't end up in someone's garden -- it looks like that's what the seller is expecting.

I would guess it to be a sousaphone bell. Recording bass bells are usually wider at the bottom opening.

I would say sousaphone because recording tuba bells usually angle up more while sousaphone bells face almost straight forward. That is, recording tuba bells are at about a 70 degree angle, while sousaphone bells are at about 90 degrees, like this one.

No maker. I doubt that there are too many people looking to match an unmarked bell to an unmarked horn.
