Hey- they're NOT just double trigger trombones... THEY'RE TRIPLE TRIGGERED!
So what's the problem? (My guess is that the slide action probably isn't much to write home about, anyway... )
DESIGNED BY FRENCH TECHNICIANS!
(They just didn't know that their horns would be copied when they built them... )
