I'd like it for my library because it has so many parts and i'd like to know if anyone else has purchased this over ebay?

Yes, although I didn't buy mine from ebay. I bought the CD from Cherry's website a few years ago, and I really like having all the parts on my computer - that way I don't have to go through boxes of (badly organised) sheet music to find the parts I'm looking for. Also, Cherry has sent at least two batches of updates and additions since I bought the CD.

I was the winner of the most recent eBay auction of this CD-ROM. I was quite surprised, since it had received much publicity here on TubeNet before the auction closed. (It's also unbelievably the very first item that I've ever purchased on eBay.)

Gordon Cherry is a very pleasant gentleman with whom to speak and with whom to do business.

The CD-ROM's "ReadMe" explanation of how Gordon came to create this CD-ROM is fascinating.

I'm very happy with the product. It's not comprehensive (e.g. it doesn't have Scriabin 3 that I'll be playing next week), but it certainly has the core of our repertoire and more (minus the scores that are not public domain).
