Playing one of these in a beer hall or marching band will completely ruin the sound. :P

I prefer the Kruspe Kreme model.

I guess when it is played by tall short guys and fat skinny ones.

Kilton Vinal-Smith played a similar instrument in the Boston Symphony in the '50s. I think he might of had two and if I recall posts from old TubeNet, Gary Offenloch owns them now.

I recall that Bloke played a Kruspe F tuba once and thought it was a very good instrument.
