Differential Tuning. It's the latest thing and the next best thing to using laser beams with a reference flat to perform interferometry on the sound waves.

Probably needed because, as everyone knows, the notes get flatter the further away you are from the sax...

Well, it does come with not one, but two tuners. That must be worth something! Too bad it doesn't come with three--he could use majority voting to see what note he was playing.
