I bought a bunch of tubas from these guys a couple of weeks ago. You can expect to see lots more stuff go at auction in the coming weeks/months. Some of the horns I bought had tags on their cases from repair shops in Texas. Basically, they open the cases to see if everything is there and sell it as is. Everything I bought needed major dentwork... but that's what I was expecting. I saw at least three semi-loads of stuff plus a large metal building full.

How much does this place usually charge for shipping a trumpet or a baritone? I emailed them but haven't heard back yet.

Thanks,
Sou

For me, and I assume it was a flat rate (like his flat descriptions of items) it was $35 for a baritone. Don't expect to hear back from him right away, or ever. He seems like a straight shooter, but not real good with the communication. I e-mailed twice and called twice (you get the phone # from e-Bay now when you win an item) about the mix-up with the horn I won before I got to talk to him, and even then the answer was "I've got 35 baritones for sale, they're all about the same."
:?
Good luck!
