I had to go back and read some of the crap in that description... OH BOY!!!
SOUSAPHONE, IS WHAT THE STUDENT CALLS IT - VERY OLD 1930'S ACCORDING TO THE BAND STUDENT - DO NOT KNOW THE KEY BUT IT SOUND PRETTY GOOD FOR AGE AND CONDITION
I liked this one the best!
The reason your tuba may have had an "unusual sound" is because of its unusual design. The leadpipe, which is the tubing that goes from the mouthpiece to the first valve, looked like it was at least 3 feet long.

Oh, they exist Wade, they're just not legal tender. Blame it on the USD$ 1.32 Euro.

So, what would be the modern name for "Die Dreigroschenoper"?

I put in my bid for 10,000 dong. That's about 62 cents in hard U.S.A. cash!
