Reidl, Grazlitz also made the "Arigra" octaogonal trumpert
(Although the valve blocks may also be octagonal, like the Conn Voca-bell, the valves themselves are of the normal cylinder shape)

The Conn rimless "Vocabell" models had similarly shaped valve casings, although of course they had a straight, rimless bell, not the octagonal bell that this does. Here's a link to a photo of one:

I've seen bells on tubas that look a lot like that.
Of course, they all belonged to heavily-abused middle-school instruments...

Perhaps the valves and slides ARE free... you just have to pay for the valve block and the bell!
