It's configured like a raincatcher bell.... with the thumbscrews on the bell collar instead of on the body. However, the screw flanges don't look like Conn. Dunno... might be original or might be some sort of hybrid.

Since it is only 21" in diameter, it probably fits on an Eb raincatcher sousaphone. Somebody may have just replaced the thumb screws with with non-Conn screws??
