I'm still new to the Tuba world and I can't tell by looking if this is a CC or BBb tuba. Can anyone fill me in?

To my knowledge, Conn never made any 2XJ series tubas in any key other than BBb. It's most certainly a BBb horn.

Yup...Most if not all top-mount valve systems are either BBb or Eb...
