It looks like it was made out of parts from a vintage Vickers 6-Ton

I'd hang it on my wall and have all visiters kiss it before entering

The valves look like old Cerveny, however the interesting shaped stuff here makes me think Boland and Fuchs (not 100% sure of the spelling).

I was going to guess Cerveny as well...

Got a pic?

I am convinced that 90% of the problems with rhythm, tone, intonation, articulation, technique, and overall prowess on the horn are related to air issues.

This tuba looks similar to a Kruspe in one of the catalogues I have but I'd have to give Tuba Tinker's guess of B&F at least as much weight as mine.

The flanges don't look anything like Cerveny work. The thumb ring is also not characteristic of Cerveny's from this period; they were using a hollow nickle-silver tube bent into a circle during this time.

I have not seen many Lidl's but the ONE old Lidl I have seen doesn't have any upgraded work on it at all. Very plain but well designed. Also that ONE old Lidl has a much more open wrap than this.

Anybody able to translate the German from the xbay add.
