Did you already sell the Official 1984 Olympics herald tuba? Was it shoulder-mounted like a K-90 with a drop banner, maybe??? (just funnin' ya, man.)
The 1984 Olympic band used Sousaphones, about 50 if I recall correctly, 736 members all totaled

My school borrowed some herald trumpets from another local school for our spring concert. In the final number (Selections from
The Music Man) some of the trombone and trumpet players, playing the heralds, went up into the mezzanine and played. It was really awesome.

I have several friends that played some of these herald trumpets back in 1984. So yes, very cool.
I also know where about a dozen of the old Olympic sousaphones are located too. Chino and Alta Loma High Schools are still using them in their marching bands. In fact a lot of the Olympic band instruments were sold to local SoCal high school band programs after the Olympics were over.
