I just found out last week that my eBay ID was hacked and used to make off-eBay offers to people (info via eBay.)

Likely this is the same thing....guy's eBay ID is stolen/hacked and the obvious is true.

eBay said my ID was not used to buy or sell items, so I didn't have to change it. I had a very secure password (long, not something in *any* dictionary of *any* language...but somehow they either got a hold of it or hacked it.)

Phooey. So the guy whose name is in the email address may be totally innocent, and Richard is proably also a pseudonym. I have no idea who I "was" while I was someone else.

Too bad. You were really showing a guy a good time, too! :D

Well, since "I" was probably male....I hope he had a really, really good time!

Probably male? How sexist...only males commit identity theft?

Ok, got me, but ..... it fit in with the humor of the post I was trying to make. Wouldn't have been the humor it was without the male assumption.

Just having some fun with you, MA! Thanks for, as always, having a thick skin and a tremendous sense of humor.
