Hmm. Using a means of interstate communication and commerce for less than truthful purposes. Hmm. Sounds like he's due for a LOT of federal time to me....

I am currently out of the country too. But when I return, I have a sturdy daughter I can trade for your horn. She will bear you many sons. I have taught her well how to barter in the market.

Will her sons learn how to build me the perfect tuba?

Not anymore. It's like a game of whack-a-mole. Watch CL and see where it comes up next. Will it be in California or Texas next. This horn is going fast. Real fast, down the (dis)information highway.

This person has posted numerous Craigslist ads. I've contacted them about a few horns in the past, all too good to be true, and I always get the same response about them being in Canada.
The interesting thing about their responses, and maybe someone already posted this - I didn't read the entire thread, is that they have on occasion had specific names of instruments, music stores, or other information that makes it look legit - but wouldn't be common info for someone that wasn't a tuba player or at least some sort of musician.
I hope someone catches this person. It's frustrating to have them "clogging" up Craigslist and Ebay with fraudulent ads.

Chicago now:
http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/msg/927498820.html
Still up as of right now. I flagged it as soon as I got this e-mail in return to my inquiry:
Thank you for your email. I still have it for sale but before i answer to your questions i`m afraid i have some "bad" news: i`m selling this because i am moving back home in Canada as i want to start a small business here with my family. I was born here, we lived in US for a while, tried a few things but didn`t worked out and decided to move back in Canada and try a small business here because after all there's no place like home. However, the point is that i am not in US right now and i can`t be there to make the transaction in person but this is not something to worry about because i will sell this with the help of iSOLD It. They are the largest eBay selling service but it`s possible that you never heard of them if you don`t sell or buy often on the internet. Their website is
http://www.i-soldit.com" target="_blank" target="_blank if you want to check it out.
When i left in Canada, i left the item along with several other items in the iSOLD It custody so i can sell them even though i am not there, so if you are OK with this, just drop me an email and i will explain the rest of the transaction details.
Thanks
Mark
I'm trying to figure out some way to return the favor and keep him on the line like the guys over at
419 Eater.
