Nope, not a "full size" Miraphone 181 F tuba.

It is, in fact, as the listing states a Bb (think euphonium Bb) Miraphone tenor tuba.

Check out the Alexander 151 to see the "legendary" tenor tuba. Also, hornguys.com has tenor tubas posted from time to time.

Interesting instruments.

Hi-
I think(?) it is a Miraphone 1258 model upright rotary euphonium.

Have there been ANY bass or contrabass tubas with a similar valve setup (12345 instead of 51234)? I think the elephant has one like this, but I've never heard of another (not entirely meaningful :D).
Most 4 piston + 1 rotor tubas would qualify as 1-2-3-4-5, right?

If you mean rotary tubas, I have to think about that a bit more...

Afterall, you did say "ANY" 8)
