twoosley ebayer, anybody know him or bought from him?

Earlier this month I won a few (3 to be exact ) boxes of misc tuba parts. He had a total of 7 auctions ( 1 auction per box ) going at the same time. I'm sure someone else on here won the other boxes. Anyway, I was hoping something might now him and put my concerns to rest. It appears that he put the auctions up while out of country or right before he left the country. Anyway he didn't say anything about not being able to ship until after the 4th of January( when he gets back in country ) in his auctions, and didn't mention it to me until I asked where my stuff was, as I hadn't received nor heard a word about the status of my items. I was hoping that someone might know him and be able to vouch for him to put my mind at ease.
Thanks,
James

I "think" (about 80-85% sure) that is the same guy I sold a tuba to in 1999. I think it was the first eBay transaction for both of us - unusual for a reasonably high-dollar item. If it is the same guy, he is an older gentleman, and the transaction went great.
He was in Los Angeles, I was in Provo, Utah. We met in Las Vegas to execute the sale. We met in the lobby of the MGM Grand. As I recall, he was a little annoyed at me - he had suggested we both wave white handkerchiefs in the lobby to identify each other, and I agreed but then changed my mind and decided to just look for the "other" guy waving a handkerchief. The sale went through without a hitch, and I left Las Vegas without spending any of the tuba money. (I took my cousin with me to make sure that happened.)
*edit* - my comments are only relevant if you meant "twoolsey" insted of "twoosley".

You are correct is should of been twoolsey. Thank you for your reply, I feel better knowing that he is a member of our tuba community, though I'm still irked about the month long delay in shipping after I paid in full with in minutes of the auctions ending. I figured he was a tuba or repair person and am glad others have had transactions with him. Who else would have several boxes of misc tuba parts lying around. Still haven't decided if I'm going to give him 3 negative feedbacks or not.

You certainly have the right to be irked about that, and the seller ought to know how you feel.

Yes, I want to be fair and not over do it because he didn't fit my "perfect ebay seller" profile. I have to add that after the auctions where over I was looking at the pics of my loot and to my chagrin, found that 2 of the auctions that I won shared the same picture, with different lighting. Besides kicking myself for not noticing, I brought it to the sellers attention and he said he'd look into and refund if he found it to be more than simply uploading the wrong pic on one of the auctions. Of course I've heard nothing more about that and probably won't until after the 4th. The auction ended on the 9th of this month.
So he has screwed the pooch on more than one issue on this. But he has 35 feedbacks with 100% positive so my ruining that would mean something.

I believe Twoosley is the son of the late Harvey Woosley a tuba and bass repairman in California. I assume that he is/was 100% real and that this was an honest eBay tranaction. Here is a link about him on the Tubenet:

I haven't delt with him directly but he seems ligit.
